Does anyone think this is true?

I was talking to a buddy of mine and hes been growing weed for longer than i have been alive and he told me that after your done flowering pull your plants roots and all and dip the roots in hot boiling water this will shock the plant and send all the thc to the buds anyone hear about this??

Yeah he uses this method but i dunno if it works or not just wanted a few other opinions

Tell your knowledgeable friend that the THC is already in the buds, not in the roots. There is no need for Gitmo torture practices......
