Does anyone add a micro/ secondary nutrient supplement?

I was just wondering if anyone here used secondary nutrients, and what you would recommend? There are so many nutrient products that I don't know what is really beneficial aside from the basic grow + bloom nutes. Thanks!

I use Epsom Salts as a magnesium, and sulphur supplement, and now to help buffer pH. I still need to adjust, but it seems to help keep it in line.
It doesn't build up in soil like most salts, any accumulation can easily be flushed out, so it's kinda hard to overdo it.
I've been using a tbsp per gal.

Do the Epsom salts buffer the pH up or down? I have trouble with my pH always trying to reach 7.5.

Mychoriz Fungai. Ohso Or Subcoool has a thread on it. Blue mountain organics from ebay has it in their Super plant tonic which is a root stimulater/developer. The fungai are little bacteria that aid the roots by breaking down nutes so they can be more easily absorbed. You can also get it in Oregonisn sold by Aqua serene. Hope this helps.
Peace and Bud.

Thanks for this, I am so going to get some Mycorrhizal fungi, but I can't get the Super Plant Tonic- they won't send it overseas. So I was thinking of this: http://www.super-grow.biz/MycoMaxx.jsp.

I think it will help tremendously. I was wondering more about a product with chelated micronutrients... ie zinc, boron, manganese, magnesium etc. Wondering if people used anything like that. On the other hand I was thinking that maybe with the myco fungi and keeping my pH in order, they'll get all the nutrients they need.

I think that as long as your using a good soil mix.... either store bought or your own you should be fine. If your mixing your own soil I also like Dr Earth amendments. I would also invest in some greensand.... It contains many of the minerals I think your looking for. If your looking for a store bought mix I would suggest Root Soil by Aurora. Has the greensand and mychs. Hope all this helps and everything goes well. Peace and Bud.
