Your forgetting something here. What is the difference in yield between HID and LED. If the difference in yield was not so great I would be all for LED. But in all the videos I have seen and threads I have read about, LED produces much less potent and very little quantity compared to HID.
All of this, of course, is based on their claim of having more light output than a 1000W HID.

To be honest, compared to other manufacturers I've seen, this particular one seems to be the most legit. I still think it should have a wider spectrum, but none of the other LED Grow Lights I've seen on the market so far have done better.

I'm actually designing an LED Grow Light... I've taken into account the full spectrum, with stronger accents in the colors plants are most productive. Plants need all colors... they just like red and blue the MOST. This is why many LED growers will supplement their LEDs with a couple CFLs to fill out the rest of the spectrum.
