i love reggae ,trance and rock..i especially love getting zoned out while listening to some tiesto or something similar..very good trip, but i dunno,would it change from strain to strain, would some strains not let you get into that zone ??

There is a school of thought that say's music helps. Google it. It's not the type of music your talking about though! I think it's classical.
