I used orange extract on a grow of mine. I added it about 12 hours before I harvested and the plant turned darker and I swear it smelled like orange. I just added the bottle to almost a gallon of water. You could kind of taste it after you blew the smoke out.I've read of people who add extract (lemon, vanilla, etc...) to their flush 1-3 hrs before they chop, after letting the medium dry out a good deal. The thirsty plant will absorb the flavored solution quickly and the sugars will be left behind in the plant. A proper cure is required to let these sugars break down properly.
