does a minisplit save you $$

I am switching from using my central ac to cool my room to a 24k mini split. Just wondering if this will save $ on monthly electric bill. The central ac was cooling the whole house vs the minisplit doing the one room. Sounds like I should save but not sure.

mini splits really arent that expensive if you buy from the right place.

Oops meant 24k btu not 24k cost.

Gotcha.. The ones I saw on amazon were anywheres from 1-3 thousand so.. I sure hope you didn't haha
