Does a dead pot plant still keep THC

Hey I got arrested in Florida Tampa Hillsborough county on a charge of cultivation for a small plant.
As the plant wasn't showing sex yet I argued that the plant was a male and just an ornament.
They finally agreed to test the plant. The plant is rotting in their evidence locker since the 7th of April.
So I was wondering, if they test the % of THC, how much could they find (there were no buds so just in the leaves and stem). Since the plant is dead and dried out for a month now could the THC content fall below 1%?

if i had your stash and wanted to bust you i would agree to test as well ,its not going to be an independent test ,and more than likely substituted with some sticky dank from there own personal stash,...i'll bet the test comes back between 11-15% just to make you look bad

Ive never read anybody on here getting busted around in the Tampabay area so im just kinda curious how they caught on and popped ya.

As per the plant. Im about 99% positive that your fine.(atleast in the test, your probably still gonna have the charge -_- )

If it was still in veg and didnt even show sex yet i dont believe the plants have developed much (if any) THC yet. I mean correct me if im wrong so we(or atleast i) can know... But If there is its probably such a miniscule amount. It also helps since you say its been sitting dead and packed away for a month in an evidence room, im sure its leaves are nice and crispy now haha.

^I wouldn't put it past them to use some other persons stash and claim it was yours. I mean how are you gonna prove to the judge that the cops are lying?

surely if they tried that robert any semi-competent lawyer would demolish it as viable evidence?

Hey guys thanks for the fast replies.
I really don't think they'll try to tear me down, this is my very first offense (not even a speeding ticket) and I'm pretty much a straight A college student, so I really don't see them plotting my destruction.
Also if it comes back over 15% (which can only be found in a weed bud), my plant being in vegetative state I can prove that the police tampered with evidence in which case charges are doped and I can sue the whole city for a lot.

Yeah no problem.. i wasn't being secretive about it at all. i live in a only college complex so it was at my window, no one cared not even management, but they hired a new guy that gave an apartment tour of an apartment right across mine and felt like being a hero and call our honorable members of TPD before even talking to management who would have told him to drop it.
If you must know, the cops that arrested me came on bike... Yes i got busted by bike cops in their ridiculously short shorts.

number 1 rule of growing though, keep it to yourself, having an illegal plant in plain sight wasn't too smart. As you say though, they'd have a pretty hard time jsutying destroying your life if you're a straight A guy etc although some judges, sigh

Yeah believe me I know that now. It just seemed so unrealistic to me have someone go through the hassle of calling law enforcement over a 12 inch plant...

But what I really need to know is how much THC will be in my dried up plant.
Does someone know the halftime or decay of THC rate?
Does someone know how much THC percent is in a stem or a leaf pre-flowering?
