doc d seeds

looks like my payment I mailed out on the 1st is lost/stolen

its been 3 weeks and no scan since the 5th

this is why I don’t like mailing money
always send cash using USPS tracking in a flat rate mailer. I had a mail lady want to take my letter from me and said to me" I'll tape that for you so you don't have to lick it." then she pulled out some scotch tape that can easily be opened without 1 noticing. I immediately said, "No it's ok I actually love the taste of the glue" Haha. My point is she saw me put cash in there and probably would've stolen it if I didn't use my noggin. Don't trust the system get tracking where contents are insured up to a few hundred bucks, take picture of envelope and contents same day u mail and you will never have to worry about lost cash in the mail

If I recall correctly Zip's mail did arrive eventually.

I would never put cash into an envelope at the post office. That and I carry a roll of packing tape so I can put tape on the envelope after doing the wetted glue thing (IME the glue strip on the envelope could be a little longer, and be more adhesive than it is).

Yup,got lost in the mail for about a month but it got there eventually and I received my seeds plus a few extra packs

and you’re 100% correct,NEVER put money in a envelope while you’re in the post office lol

I have hundreds of bubble wrap envelopes i got off amazon and I always put the money or seeds in one of those envelopes and seal them at home before I even go to the post office

then i put that envelope in a flate rate envelope and ship it

i can't begin how happy I am with these girls. I got a few packs of Doc-D/Strayfox's white haze x Skunk 91 freebies. I decided to run them indoors in 5 gallons. I had plans on a different male. After watching these beans grow zi chose to make f2's and a few crosses. I make sure to pinch a small nug every morning to get the citrus funk on my fingers. Absolutely incredible terps raging on both these girls. These are 36 days from flipping to 11-13.

Bushy thang she is

Few of the top nugs. Trichomes are forming on the bigger fan leaves too. Pics don't do her justice.

week 3 for de x sour d, 2x so far, still creeping though. slowest to transition into flower as well.
the chem91/afk x18 is in the same ballpark, just much beefier frame
How’d the Sour D x DE turn out? I’ve got four of those growing now (one week in veg haha), pretty stoked about them. Or rather, I’ll be stoked if I find some SD-leaders haha.

Does anyone know if Doc D is unretired or what? GLG got a nice drop of his gear a few weeks back, but I thought he was retired and stopped paying attention to my GLG emails, then I click on it, see the Nigerian Rafiki drop, but was too late to get it. Just wondering if he's back, either just doing drops through GLG or if he's going to do direct sales again? I don't have any social media, so I'm hoping my RIU friends know what's up? I need that Rafiki!

My understanding from a Doc D email was that he's retired from direct sales as he moved out of country. He'll still be selling through GLG and maybe other vendors. I hope I'm accurate and have helped.

What going on:

Buen día everyone!

As promised I’m writing to catch-up on how our move to Mexico is going and what new drop everyone can expect.

I’d love to say that our travels down south have been nothing but sunshine, tasty tacos, and smooth sailing... but life is never that simple. I will say that I’ve been smoking plenty of sativas (and a lot of it) from around the country.... and luckily, cannabis flowers have been easy to aquire thanks to my well connected brother-in-law. At this time... finding truly unique and special smoke has been difficult. On top of that, the best flowers are green and mostly seedless while the worst is brown and seeded. I’ve been collecting seeds and documenting from the best I find, but very little info is known about the varieties offered except the general area it came from. Most dealers offer two kinds of flowers, green or brown, and nearly all dealers are Cartel members... and any independent grower who gets too big will be approached by the cartel... This leads most growers to be very private in their practice and social circles. I’ll continue the search for unique cultivars, but so far the best flowers I’ve tried came from a smaller local indoor grower with stateside genetics.

One of the best parts of our move has been visiting the amazing cities, villages, natural wonders, and ancient ruins that inhabit mexico. We’re still searching for our perfect place to put down permanent roots, but the state of Jalisco and Chiapas have shown us some beautiful options. We plan on traveling to the Yucatán this winter to escape the mild temperatures of Mexico City, where we currently live...after that I think we'll be checking out Oaxaca city and the pacific coastal towns where cannabis is more accepted and embraced compared to other states within mexico :-)

What’s Dropping:

I’m back stateside for a few days and have decided to drop with my friends at these three seed banks:

Great Lakes Genetics https://www.greatlakesgenetics.com/
Headiegardens https://headiegardens.com/
Labyrinth. https://labyrinthseedco.com/

Please check their websites over the next few weeks for new and old hybrids.

Everything is limited edition since I no longer hold the same breeding stock.... However, my A5 Haze/Thai bx male is still alive with the help of a friend.

I hope everyone finds excellent plants in my seeds.

Gracias a todos.

Tu amigo, D

Thanks a lot for posting this! Funny, I have an Uncle living in the same area and he says the same thing about the bud down there. I'll just try to keep up to date with the drops. I'm glad to see his packs selling so well though, the demand is definitely there. It also makes me happy to know there are some true cannabis connoisseurs with taste and distinction out there, and not chasing FOTM.

When I was looking for a pack of the Nigerian, i saw that Doc D packs were selling for $150 each on Strainly-which was just a matter of time to be honest- but also interesting because it just shows how strong the demand already is for his seeds since he moved. From GLG this time, I ended up getting one Lemon Thai F5, but I regret not getting two of those now....also the Midnight Buzzsaw, and the Mullum/Oaxacan x Sensi Star. I already have a few of his Mullum/oax crosses, and think it would be fun to do a grow featuring a bunch of them.

Glad to see Doc doing so well down South and enjoying the good life!

Unfortunately the bandaid haze didnt have time to finish properly for me outdoors here
I love Doc's selections for crosses, I'm sure you'll find some dank in those. I'm going to miss those $30 packs that are better than most of the FOTM drops in the $200 range. Too bad about the bandaid haze, but I like that you took a risk and tried it outdoors!
