I think making prostitution legal would have a pretty big impact on marriage, especially in America. If a guy can simply go to the local brothel to take care of his needs, why would he ever get married, especially in the world we live in today, where women dominate men in pretty much every legal aspect that exists? I'm not saying men get married solely for sexual gratification, I'm just asking what else does marriage offer men today they otherwise couldn't acquire without getting married? I think it was a lot different for our grandfathers and even our fathers.. I think the general scope of marriage has significantly changed from a generation ago..
So who are the voices behind keeping prostitution illegal? Might they have an ulterior motive?
