I like being married. For example, a few weeks ago, the wife and I had sex, she took me out to dinner, then we hit a few shops we both liked and went home. I don't need to spend money, I don't need to hide porn. I don't need to hide a grow or even share because she rarely smokes. She cooks things I like and holds the same values I do. Relationship sex offers an intimacy I don't think you can get in purchased sex. If you want/need to buy sex, it doesn't bother me a bit. I have someone I can trust, that speaks honestly and offers valid points of view outside of my own vantage. I also wasn't foolish, I waited till I was in my 30s to get married, I went around the block a few times first.

Legislation of private morality never works. Period.

On CBC right now there is an interview with a Native woman that at 12 years old was sold as a sex worker on a ship in Lake Superior.

There are so many murdered and missing indigenous women in Canada it's insane.

They are addicts, or their families are addicts, and they get sold as a commodity.

It's so sad.

I know this is a boner killer.

I don't know if legalization would help these women.

The Cabinet Minister for women is Patty Hadju. She is from Thunder Bay and ran a women's shelter here for years.

I hope that the new government can help stop some of this madness.
