UV absolutely will cause damage to skin cells. IR is safe though.

uv will give sunburns for sure and mess up your eyes. infrared is used as a heat source for physical therapist etc. not sure what exposure levels are safe vs bad for humans though.

High levels of IR are also bad for vision.

Uvb 295 -310 nm is supposed to increase thc through creating stress. Peace
