I find the plants grow the most when i water once a day vs. once every two or three. Ive read of guys watering six times a day mechanically getting even better yields. I could nail my girls and go two days between waterings if i wanted to, i just thought it was better for growth to have a faster wet dry cycle, no?

Yup, and I "see" the key here for "smart pots" = soilless!

If anyone chooses to go with one of those ten buck digital timers from Walmart :) or Lowes go with the 24 hour setting, not AM PM. These timers are only rated for 630 watts so to run a 600 aquarium pump ($30) you'll need a $5, 40amp, 12vdc Canadian Tire accessory relay and a 12vdc adapter to plug into the timer to operate the relay that drives the pump. :)

That's a lot of money :)
