I think Africa because we have been trying to depopulate them and take atvantage of them for years with very limited success and there is a certain freedom and lawless common sense that seems to prevail in many African countries, it seems simpler. And if the shit really hits I don't think we will waste time or resources on Africa, so yes it's terrible and dangerous but you know that going in and I can't see it getting much worse. I question Russia and think it might be an option but could also see it being a major shit storm, their corruption seems that it might have less of a horrible eugenic coclusion than ours but im not sure. I don't like the Romanian or Czech option as I think Europe would once again be in the center of chaos and hostilites. I think Vietnam might be my choice as they don't hold a major grudge afainst US citizens, and after the last war I don't think we would get involved again and I think China offers them some degree of safety but wouldn't get involved in disrupting them to much and they have a very simple poor way of life that I think would hold up well without disruption during international conflicts, that being said Vietnam isn't a perfict option either and their enviornment had been decimated to the point of offering little opportunity of selfsustinance. I don't like South America and you touched on some of the reasons, they are to close and will be fought for, and the have nots will be after the haves, Bolivia? Maybe? Guyana? Maybe, but like I said I don't like the option. I also think the islands are not a good option.

why do you think S. AM countries will be fought for? The fighting countries will be too busy fighting for themselves. Take Uruguay, for instance, 3M people and a land mass larger than Florida. 97% of the land is farmland, most for cattle. There is nothing but wide open space where you can grow your own food and livestock. Nobody's coming.

That pretty much sums it up, resources and their proximity to us. Oil, Rubber, Timber, Food etc, plus the Panama canal, we have let China take the Panama canal, but it would be fought over and very strategic in any conflict, I can't believe we let China in there, but I think China becoming more dominant is all part of "The plan" Anuways you might be right about S America, I heard Bush bought a huge spread in Paragueay, maybe that's where he's going when the shit goes down, and i'm sure he knows the game plan since he helped write the script, hopefully never get to find out and nothing ever happebs, I would be plesently supprised.
