Do you guys let underdeveloped nugs that didn't get much light mature after harvesting?

I've been cutting a lot of budding sites where the shitty popcorn nugs usually end up. But a lot of the budding sights towards the top seem like they would be great nugs if only they got more attention from the light but they're covered by the colas. Can I just leave these nugs on the plant to fatten up and mature after I harvest the ones that did mature? I've already done lst training so there is A LOT of budding sights over the top of the plant, in fact they're even competing for light.

i'm using a 400 watt hps running at 75%, so basically a 300 watt. It's getting hot around where I live so leaving it at full power gets it into the high 80's. (I have a 20 dollar fan from walgreens and grow in a closet so I can't just cut out a hole for an intake fan ahaha)

That plant is no where near harvesting. I know what you're asking. After the top canopy is mature is it worth cutting the colas and allowing the unformed budlings down below to have a chance. It depends on the crop situation.

How long has she been in flower? Cutting the plant during flower will stress it causing the plant to slow down as well sometimes.

Really up to you man, me personally would just take the whole thing at once most of the buds have matured but everyone had there own perfect time. Do u have a thread on here gal, or posting progress somewhere?

What i'm asking is, what it actually WORK? or would the plant die because so much of it got cut off. I know it's nowhere near harvesting but this is going to be my fifth or sixth harvest and I always end up getting not-so-great nugs on the areas that didn't get much light.

This is only week 1 of flowering I know it needs more time. What do you mean "crop situation?"

Double harvest , chop the tops off and the big nugs that are done. Leave more than 50% of the plant and it will work fine.

Like do u have a thread on her? And it won't kill her, I have re vegged actually before and plant did amazing. So ya it will slow it down a bit but it's not un common for people to do this to do this.

I did it once after being told at last years cannabis cup by another attendee that it was the thing to do.. It won't kill the plant.. But for the effort and time it didn't seem to me to be worth it.. As the others have said "it will slow down"(a lot).. And for the couple extra hits I may have gotten, I'd rather just start another batch.. So for me It wasn't worth the effort or time.. Opinions vary...

after lst i would remove anything from the lower branches, if it cant get enough light its gonna end up sucking power from the rest of the plant and reduce your yield. although... id reccomend not removing anymore than 3 branches a day/other day, as your gonna end up stressing out the plant.
you could do what a user above said and double harvest the plant, it has good outcomes if you have the time

I remove all the small shoots youre talking about once the plants flowering, leaving only bud sites that are strong and get good light.Lower branches tend to end up completely stripped apart from the main bud at the end of each branch.I think its wasting energy leaving on small buds thatll come to nothing. Also,I like to leave the buds on their branches to dry when I harvest,I basicaly just hang the whole plant up and find this to give a better quality finished product.
So to answer your question, yes it can be done but its pointless imo,put your own and your plants energy into growing big dense bud thatll be worth the effort.
I hope that helps,good luck bro,peace!

I LIKE TO REVEG HAVE DONE WITH SOME I REALLY LIKED AND NEVER TOOK CUTTING OF AND HAD GREAT RESULTS AND I ONLY LEFT LITERTALY 10% OF THE BUDS ON IT AND HAD PRETTY GOOD RESULTS BUT EVERY GROWER HAS GOT THEIR WAY OF DOING THINGS
I HAVE HERD OF PEOPLE DOING THIS WHERE THEY TAKE THE READY NUGS AND LET THE OTHER NOT READY FINISH UP AS USUALLY THE WHOLE PLANT IS NOT READY AT THE SAME TIME ANYWAY BUT AGAIN A PREFERENCE THING
