I give away meds to some people, but I don't have any patients. Shit easily pays for itself multiple times over, theres always more, and seeing a friend or relative be surprised is always a good feeling.

Trimming or helping with different things associated. Free? If I gave anything free I would have a line of hands out across the area. Where I come from you work for your take not expect something because you have a plastic card. Do you get a free script refill at Walmart or cvs? Or do you try to low ball the cashier when it comes to checkout? Success isn't measured on what's expected of you it's what you deliver.

if you agreed to give a free once a month so they could add to your plant count then quit your bitchin and give whats do or better yet dont make that deal to begin with problem solved it has more to do with bieng a man of your word not the ounce, if they agreed to pay $300 an oz i would expect them to also keep there word.

I am not able to be a caregiver in MI but, after my next pull I will be finally back in a financial situation where I can actively seek out people in financial and medical need of this plant for free. The absolute best part of growing this plant is that feeling.They might not get the best trim job in the world but, it is the best way I have found to separate myself from the for profit type of mind set. Just giving away a few ounces a harvest changes everything from a business to something different to me.

I was a little harsh towards kind diesel, but man that pissed me off. If you aren't in a position to help people out then so be it. That's nobody else's business. But don't say that a financially ruined cancer patient should be smoking moldy bud. That's just crazy talk. We're all one bad day away from being in a financial mess, and I would hope that there would be some compassionate people out there that would lend a hand if that ever happened.

Yes I give a free oz a month thats not a big deal to me at all. My patients average an oz per week and they give me $250 for those. Once my costs are made back for that harvest the rest is free but I do log my time in the room and figure that out as a cost also.

I’m not growing yet , but when I do I’m thinking if they want cheap why not “ bud on a stick “ just have to chop and drop . I did a lot of trimming to earn my trim in Colorado and it sucks after a while .

I give alot away and what i am compensated for i charge drastically lower than the people in my area. Like half. And still easily fund m the costs of my g room. I believe this plant should be free for everyone especially those that need it. I understand that some of us out there rely on it to put food on the table or heat the house. Ive been there believe me. Now im a little older and financially stable so if i can help out those around me by giving a little away.... well shit thats the least i can do.
Plus karma can be a real blessing in times of need. Ive run out and never even had to ask friends for any because they gave it to me like i gave to them. Full circle. You get what you give.

I am totally on board with giving away meds because you are being generous or helping somebody's cause. what I take issue with is the apparent expectation of free meds. you expect me to give you meds for free? kiss my ass and kick rocks! now if you are having a rough time and I can help make things a bit easier on you by gifting you an O than sure absolutely. but don't tell me I should be giving you shit for free because I can make money elsewhere. grow your own at that point or find some one else to deal with your crap.

Maybe if I were caregiving for real patients (i.e. someone with a degenerative disease), perhaps then I'd feel an obligation to help them in any way I can. For the average stoner that got his / her card just to be on the legal....$250/ounce and be satisfied you get that.
I don't have a problem giving patients free meds, but I don't want it to be part of their conditions in order to "allow" me to grow for them. I always have what I call "paid in full extras" for my patients, I give these away after I have been fully compensated for my delivery and have not been asked to extend any credit. These extra treats may be a dozen mediables, a few grams of BHO or maybe a quarter of a new strain I'm testing...it depends on the patient as every situation is different. Bottom line is I use these "bonuses" to get feed back and maybe establish a new market for these other products with them. It doesn't take long for patients to figure out this is a much better deal for them than to command anything "free" from me, it makes them part of the process and soon they start to look forward to see what I have in my bag for them today. I do give actual gifts for my patients for special occasions or holidays...this last year I gave grinders for patient birthdays and small glass pieces for xmas...For me its about building loyality and trust, its got nothing to do with plant counts, finding patients is easy...finding ones you can trust and enjoy being around takes a little effort.

thats right growers patients/CG and other activists in California are watching the corporate interests (in Colorado and elsewhere) try and co-opt the healing benefits of the plant
-they have made it clear that >ALL cbd< should be given for >free....especially to terminal or severely disabled pts that need it
hate to bust all yous bubble that thought you would get rich selling cbd plants (for300$@)and extracts to people that need it but.....
--the corporate interests are way way ahead of you....
