What I got out of that cn and what I believe some of what thagoroo is saying is...

That our knowledge and understanding of the world/universe and how it works is built up off of the theories and understanding of those that came before us.

That in time with new theories mankind's understanding of the world is ever evolving and what we once knew to be true can in fact be proven to be false...

That Some people are not in a place in their life to be able to grasp certain concepts regardless of how many times it is laid out right in front of them...

Look up grahm hancock many might not believe what he says but he does not ever say that his findings are the end all to anything the thing I respect about him is he does not read a book a reteach he explores the world and for answers and comes up with his own opinion so its not a recycled thought
Also thsnkyou for clearing up what I was trying to say Shannon Alexwnder regardless if it was off topic and sorry to the og post going off topic

I don't mind Religious folk as long as they don't let their "beliefs" dictate how they view people. For example...most Religious people hate gays for no reason. Then they use their Bible as a shield when they are called a bigot.

Just because you believe something doesn't mean I have to respect it. Hitler had a belief system...does anybody respect it? :dunce:

I may spew a lot of disgust for Religion in general but that's because this is a forum. My entire family is extremely Religious and I have the utmost respect for them. We just don't talk about it.

How could you disagree without knowing what he knows not saying he's right but he thinks what he does because of what he has seen not just read in books and yes I do think a lot makes sense but just cause it makes sense don't make it true
