I drive stoned allllll day... ride my bike stoned too.. nothing like operating clutch at high speeds with the wind in your face blazed as hell

However,
I will never drive drunk, or under the influence of any hallucinogen (unless an extreme emergency)

Because of my job I spend hours at a time in a car so I usually try to be sober so my day isn't so dragged out.

If I'm just making a quick run I won't even hesitate to take off stoned.:eyesmoke:

I do.. But have of lately decided not to. Especially with the op going. Even though up to an ounce is decriminalized where I'm from the last thing I need is my house searched for paraphernalia found in my car.
why would they search your house? they have no reason to... unless u have like a grow light in your car

yeah i drive stoned. if i was really high out of my brain i wouldn't, but i haven't been like that in years. being stoned makes urban traffic much more tolerable. i can actually choose not to care about getting cut off when i'm stoned. cannabis grants me that ability. however every once in a while i have to snap out of autopilot, but that's usually only because i'm tired. tired driving is asking for trouble, especially if stoned or worse.

I do just about everything high, but I try not to smoke while in the car because that just seems to be asking for trouble since Wisconsin isnt medical yet, I still do every once in awhile though

No. I wouldn't without a second thought, however my first DWI got me 122 days in county. Nowadays I don't even let buddies drive fucked up from my house because I don't want them to have to go through it.
you're a good person.

a raging pedophiliac, perhaps. but you're one of the good ones :)

There is really no reason not to drive high once you have a bit of a tolerance down, and really even before then is fine too. Driving is much easier high, everything slows down giving you more time to react. Also, if accidents were popular we would hear about it all the time from government agencies

The link I posted in the Legal Edge forum on this topic is worth checking out. It's a link to a video, a news report about a lawyer in San Diego who has gotten people off on charges of toking and driving. He did this by citing two federal studies which concluded that there is no evidence that marijuana use impairs driving. The video is a year old.

I do not drive impaired.

No one's life is of less importance to me than my own convenience.

If I know I will be driving, I do not imbibe. If I have been imbibing and I am called to go somewhere, I beg off. Or walk. Or have someone else drive me there. Or call a cab.

Now comes the question of what you consider being impaired

Not really.

Pilots have a rule: Eight hours from bottle to throttle.

It's the same for me.

The same rule applies for any substance which could impair one's ability to drive.

Some might think that too strict a code. That's fine. It's my code.

Anyone caught driving under the influence will get no sympathy from me; regardless of the substance.
