Do you care about the people here?

Do I care about like 4 or 5 people here? No, I've never met them. Do I censor myself a little and appreciate their posts? Definitely.

Words are words. Your own emotions are what give others power.

I dont know who Kaendar is, but if he trolls and makes people upset then he probably needs the most love. Most people only spread hurt when they are hurting themselves.
There are people whose capacity to consume love is bottomless, and without apparent result. Thus the Biblical warning about pearls and swine. cn

Sharing is Caring and this most do here , maybe we dont like how they put there view across or such . But the biggest problem is the misconstrued words and lack of emotion behind them..

Then there is just the Asshole now and then that nobody likes in real life, I can do better and be bigger is the typical motto..

Mature people need not play multiple personality with a Keyboard .. Its simple to be who you are on here and anywhere else ..

I always attempt to make a wrong right if I offend someone dinking around on the net , as again its to easy to misunderstand and take things the wrong way .. Assholes are put on my ignore list , as in real life they are always ignored ...

i think most of the people i meet on the internet only read my posts in an attempt to find something they disagree with, weather it be politics, how to grow weed, or even grammar...

There is a growing list of people on here that I care about in a way. Some more than others. I'd really like to meet up with quite a few people on here. I'm the exact same person in real life that I play on here as Bliss.

Thats the truth.

Its funny though, I don't like to have friends in the real world. Something always happens and causes heart ache, one way or the other. That's why I'm attracted to forums. I have friends, but I try to keep them at an arms length. Part of that is the grower in me that wants to keep people out of my business though.

I'm scared for what the real world could be doing to you then. Yikes.
I agree with Vileplume in that those who hurt others are often hurting themselves. That's why I make every effort to resolve conflict with kindness.

The thing is alot of trolls pick upon your insecurities acquired form things that have happened to you in the real world, playing on them and affirming all your paranoid and thoughts regarding why you hate yourself so much or reinforcing thins that said/happened to you offline. If a bunch of people on the internet who barely know you can be so damning and spiteful, or toy with your emotions relentlessly (in one case, playing with my emotions for an entire YEAR) then shit gets incredibly real for you. You begin to feel like you deserve it, and that EVERYONE must hate you.

Yes most people badly affected by trolling had existing issues, but those sick enough to KNOW that and CHOOSE to push them over the edge... Well, they have problems.

Crazy thing about the internet though. You can turn it off and not deal with it.

Maybe if you have the ability to switch off your mind and don't have compulsive tendencies. For some people, they read something, or someone will have told them something/done something to them as a child and they will carry that with them for the rest of their lives.

Sad.

I see the Buddhist idea's woven in your posts but you missed the lesson on impermanence and not holding on to things.
edit: not trying to convey a dickish tone. just stating is all.

I tend to look at everyone on forums PC games etc as robots with brains. I'm not close with anyone, hell half the time I don't even look at the name on who posted something. I just enjoy the discussions and learn a thing or two, get a few laughs in and then move on to the next topic.

if I see someone has genuinely poured their heart into a post ,I know that I start forming a care towards them and if i have anything to say, that I think may help that persons dilema or problem, I post it.:leaf:

i always try and treat and talk to others on here the same way i'd like to be treated and talked to.. it's funny how a lil common courtesy and decency can go a long way in receiving the same in return..
don't get me wrong i have lost my temper from time to time, but i'm proud to say that it's not all that often.. even when i do say something out of my character, many times i will reread what i wrote and go back and edit it out as i tend to feel bad easily about things one could take the wrong way or something i think was just plan old mean and may have went over some invisible line in my eyes.

i also don't think i could start some sock puppet account here and become a troll as i don't really have the heart for it imo.. i'm a leo, and i tend to love everyone for the most part.. :D
