Do you believe everything featured in High Times?

I love reading the mag, but some of the features seems too good to be true. Jst wondering what others thought. All comments welcome!

No. I don't anyways. They showcase popular strains that are usually new. There are plenty of strains that are fantastic that you won't see featured in high times. I think HT has fallen off a lot in the past 10 years.

I dont because I read in there about the add sugar to water to get purple buds and im pretty sure thats been disproved.

i believe as much in high times as i do in any other periodical.. you have to remember that they have their own agenda.. such as selling advertising space and once ads are sold they will do what ever is needed to keep these people happy, and sometimes this will include running a fluff piece on some of their advertisors products.
don't get me wrong, i read high times almost monthly and enjoy it, but i like to take what i have read there and try to do my own research and get my own ideas from there..i try to do this regardless of what i am reading.. i do not take any one source of information as the be all and end all of knowledge...
lately i have been getting more into SKUNK magazine than hightimes.. to me they seem to have a more independent feel to them that i feel that hightimes has kinda lost along the way..
hightimes is still a great magazine and all, but as far as believing everything i read in it from cover to cover, i do not.. i can't hardly name anybook or magazine that i read and take as gospel that way.. to me, hightimes is more of a source of entertainment with sometimes some interesting articles in it

I saw a grow where they had full grown plnts in 2'' net cups. I'm drilling the holes right now and I'm hoping that it'l work out.

Yea, you can do that with a hydro system and have a decent sized plant. it's all about the basin you're using. It would have to be deep enough for a lot of roots.

I don't think it would be very sturdy, and you might have to scrog or something.

The thing thats driving me nuts is that they showed the grow using PVC fence posts. There's like 4'' of space in there. I actually went out and bought 2 posts and then stopped and thought abt root space. So now I jst switched to DWC and intend to use the cups with my rubbermaids.

Do they have an online edition.
