Do you 12/12 from seed or 18/6 +rep for vote and post

Just curious what everyone is doing from seed. 12/12 or 18/6 first. Just a simple poll will be interested to see results

Seed to sprout = Windowsill w/humidity dome
Veg phase = 18/6
Flower phase = 12/12

18/6 is the best way imo

9 plants
12/12 from seed

After germing we do either 24 light then 18/6 until its ready for flower then 12/12 or we just start out with 18/6 then go to 12/12!

that is correct

have tried 12-12 from seed in the past and was not happy with yield so i use 18-6 for veg and 12-12 to flower.

I've tried both as well - the 12/12 plants aren't near as big as the 18/6.

I go 18/6 to get the plant nice and big first then I flower.

how much did it reduce your yeild? %?

18/6 till they are big girls.

Definately start off with 18/6 if you start straight into 12/12 the plant isnt big enough to produce generous sized buds. and more of them. there is the exception of a minature grow though if your really restricted to space go 12/12 as soon as you can.

I likes to go 24/0 for 3-4 weeks then another 3-4 weeks 18/6 then 12/12 till DING.
Here are some 24/0 that are about 3 weeks old.
Ill give 2 pics, one was last weekend and the other today (7 days difference)

Also just started nutes yesterday so that's not had time just yet to have an effect, Ill update next weekend with another if you likes.

I haven't done much from seed since I do mostly cloning. But with clones I go 18/6 until the flower room is ready. 10-12 inches and then 12/12.

typically i start off with 2weeks of 24 hours of constant light, from germination on. personally i think this keeps the soil warm and keeps moisture buildup from happenening and mold setting in early when the seedling is most vulnerable

after that its 18/6 untill im done vegging. you can veg a plant on this cycle for 12months if you want, as long as its not an auto-flowering strain

once ive vegged it out i switch to 12/12 untill trichromes turn milky

once ive scoped the trichromes i kick it back to 8/16

and when 80% of the trichromes have turned amber i give it 48 hours of uninterrupted darkness and then kill the bitch.
ive gotten some killer beer can sized buds from bagseed using this lighting schedule... matter of fact my profile pic is one of em

After 12 months she will loose alot of her juice tho, you wanna start flower by the 9th month.

Shit I couldn't sit around waiting a year for a plant to veg, wow way too much time for something to go wrong.....

I germ my seeds in paper towels usually; sometimes ill use tiny seed planters if necessary but pretty much take seedling straight to veg. process using 18/6 and switch to 12/12 at a reasonable height and time, varying on strain.
