do trichromes have to change color to harvest

Trics go from clear to cloudy to amber. Cloudy will give you a more "up" high and the more amber, the more couch lock.

thanx , i read that before , i have done it before, but this time i cut one down because it look like it was ready 10 days ago , smelled real good, crystals all over , but since yesterday , smell is deterioation , plant started looking old , crystals fading , so i chopped it, hopefully it is good
