Do these pictures look clear enough?

I didnt post this in the harvest/cure thread, as I have no intention of harvesting. I'm giving my girls all the time they need, and my projected harvest time isnt until mid April at the earliest.

What I am curious about, however, is the type of scope you all use to inspect thine buds. The camera on my phone is decent enough, ×10 zoom, and took this photo earlier before lights on. Almost looks to be some amber trichs, but as I said, I'm not an expert. Anyway, Amazon's got a jeweler's loupe that does ×60, but for 10$ more you can get a USB attachment for your phone, that does 1000× zoom or some shit. Do i need all that. What do you prefer?

I just use a loop that's all that's needed. If you want to take close up pictures get the USB microsocope. But be careful with the cheap ones. Some are just garbage and a waste of money.
 
Yes, I'd say those are definitely amber trichomes!

If you grow under white light, get real close, and your vision is good, you can get a pretty good estimation of cloudy/white/amber with the naked eye. A combination of my phone camera and my own eyeballs works great for me :blsmoke:
 
That's what I was thinking. Natural light and my phone, but I'm under an hps, so I think I might just spend the $ and get this one I was looking at

I bought one of those years ago. I don't use it because it's extremely hard to focus in on a bud that's still on the plant. It's in a box somewhere. The loupe works better.
 
Here is a 30x loupe held against my phone camera. Also has a 60x lens that REALLY zooms in. You've gotta hold very still or it comes out a little blurry like this pic

I had a 420 scope that was a piece of junk, and it seems this one falls on the same category. I bought the 60× loupe for now. My Note 9 is supposed to take kick ass pics, but I'm still figuring it out and what not.

I use my eyes, senses, none of this scope crap haha, can't use the bloody thing with shakey hands
