I agree that was not a racist statement. Cops do not raid white people's homes, guns in hand, for splitting up a half oz of pot. But they do it to black people. I have been to court, saw a young black man get sent to prison for posession of less than an oz of weed, on a different day, an older white guy got fined for the same crime. It seems the drug war is only fought on "black turf", and it really seems to set up "legal" discrimination. The whole thing is completely unconstitutional, and it's disgusting to a little white girl like me.

I read the statement as a true statement, kinda like getting a DWB, driving while black.
my step sister's kid is half black,I let him drive my truck in glamis and he got pulled over in a matter of minutes,
I drive it everywhere and never get pulled over. It's just the way it is.It's fact not fiction.

The the smallest bust I've heard about around me was a father and son with over 60 plants. Other than that it's stupid people on probation trying to grow a couple in there closet. It costs more for the police to investigate and bust the smaller grows so as long as you don't piss anyone off than it's not a problem.

I read that somewhere in Oklahoma a helicopter found two marijuana plants growing in the corner of a garden while flying overhead. They went and got a search warrant and arrested the nice couple the next day, one of which was an elementary school teacher! She lost her job because of two marijuana plants, these kind of stories bring sympathy from all walks of life!

There is a SCOTUS case dealing with a low flying helicopter that spotted a small grow. If memory serves me correctly, it was three plants. SCOTUS threw out the conviction and set stare decisis on how ariel spotting could work in identifying illegal activity. Don't ask me to look it up. I am stoned and lazy at the moment.

If someone is growin 3-4 plants for personal and no one knows, their are no smells or light leaks, I would say its damn near impossible to get caught. The law would have to have legitimate reasons and evidence to search your property. Now if you beat up your girlfriend or something else stupid, and they get access into your home, your ass may be grass.

In Oklahoma they will bust your ass for a single seed. They are also good about planting evidence if they suspect you and don't find anything. In some areas good luck even getting a public defender if you cant afford an attorney. Crooked bastards there and for the most part informants are the name of the game!
