Do Microbes in products like Terp Tea work with Synthetic Nutes/Tap Water?

I grow in Pro MIx and GH Flora Series with Tap water. I also have Tea Terp that I use both Veg and Bloom. I have read that there is no point in using Terp Tea when using Synthetic Nutes (I think even using tap water because it's chlorinated) because it kills off Microbes. Is this true? Is there really no point in using Terp Tea? It stinks lol I'm gonna be pissed if I have been using it for no reason. >:(

Synthetic nutes are fine. If your tap water is high sodium and or chlorine you have a problem.

Try letting the water sit at least overnight. Running an airstone inside helps too. It's not ideal to use tap water but it's also not pissing into the wind either. You will still see benefits of using it.
