Do I Really Need HPS for Flowering?

About 30 days old now. I just switched to 12/12. I've got a 400 watt setup using a Sunpulse MH 6.4K

Do I really need to switch to HPS?

No you do not, a lot of growers use MH thru the whole grow

T5's work good for both veg and flowering cuz you can switch the bulbs out from blue to red when you wanna start budding, but there expensive and are only good for about 2 plants budding, but you will save hella on you engery bill. but this post was useless do to i didnt read you were useing a MH

no the mh is fine bro youll still get some dence nugs

the hps will always out perform any other lights on the market. u can use others but they just won't produce the same, hps has better lumens and more penetration thru the foliage.

i use a 400 watt HPS and i gives off huge dense nugs, but it gets hot in my grow room you need ventilation

MH will work just fine for either stage of growth but will produce more airy buds than an HPS would. Not that the quality will suffer, you'll just end up with denser buds using a HPS. They look great, however you choose to finish em off.

i use mh for vegging sumtime but i find it puts out a helluva lot more heat than anything else, good tight node spacing with it though.

you can get hps conversion bulbs pretty cheap, you should really look into them.
