Do i REALLY need fans in my small grow box?

i am planning on growing 1 small plant in a 2ft x 1ft x 1ft box painted flat white with 125w cfl lamp i have no more money to invest in this grow can i get away without using any fans? so does anyone know a way around this? i will get pics up by friday when my box is complete. also is baby bio any use for plants or do i need to find another uk plant feed????

depends on what your temps are and what the fan is doing? I use it to cool and strengthen the plants during veg to hold the weight of flower and its on for general movement in the winter. You can have it or not thats up to you.

Walmart sells mini fans for ~ $5

thanks i will try without a fan as i dont wanna spend more money just yet as my wife moning about me growing so dont know if i'll be able to follow through to harvest. so i am doing it as cheap as possible after spending £40 on a light and £25 on seeds.

i always think it is bullshit when people say " i cant invest anymore money in this grow" before you start a grow ( this is a common mistake ) you have to find out EVERYTHING you need rather than half assing it because thats how grows get fucked up. and the answer is YES you do WANT a fan because it will make the plant much stronger and keeps insect chances down, also you arent planning on doing the whole grow in that box are you because it is WAY to small if you CANT buy a fan and are using this box till the end i am sorry to say growing just doesn't seem right for you right now sorry - DNK p.s. good luck

are you freaking serious? you got a light and a fucking box.... you can't spend $4 on a tiny fan? if you can't afford a $4 fan maybe you should be thinking of ways to save and make $ instead of wasting time growing in a tiny fucking box?

you def want air circulating at all times....

it fights pests, builds your stem (this is disputed but i believe it does this), and fights moldy buds

Your plant will get roasted in that small a space without a fan. You'll have to have an exhaust fan.
