As stated those are not herms and are not developing calyx, as they are developed calyx also known as preflowers along the node and have matured and swelled hence the swollen look ... This is how the majority of Calyx stacked together as buds should appear as they ripen and fill out .. The Hair as its known will recede when this takes place ..
Its best to study alot as stated and look at as many images as possible in order to educate yourself

Thanks for the help everyone cause Well internet saved me lol... i was very very diaspointed. As my tops are all nice nugs that are all white frost 
an its only 18days in. Cant wait till they big. My cotton candy plant is something to stare at for days. In my eyes as a newb anyways lol. Green love is doing wayyyy beter than thought it would, headband and la confidential are perfect green on every leaf still.
