I have 1 autoflower going right now.
She will be 3 weeks old tomorrow.
I have her in fox farm ocean forest soil.
I have been giving her just water.
Do I need to use calmag with tap water?
When should I feed her or should I feed her since I am ocean forest soil?
I have seen alot of people say dont feed till after 6 weeks.
Then people say feed veg nutes right away.
Only feed bloom nutes.
Any help would be great.

i started giving my seedling nutrition at 3 weeks only half the dose of what instructions says...u should be fine if you do decide to give them nutrition. if you do use tap water let the water sit for 24hr+ So it be more clean. Hope this helps good luck

your tap water has some minerals in it but I add a little to mine I don't want a problem as far as nutes all plants are different some like a lot some don't try 1/4 to 1/2 amount suggested on bottle

Keep in mind only listen to people who know they are talking about auto's....

The ones who say veg nutes right away, are not thinking autoflower in enriched soil. You are probably right with the flower nutes only, and nothing but water til at least 6 weeks or so.... Auto's have a much smaller, and more sensitive root structure. I would at around 4+weeks start adding SMALL amounts of calmag to the water until its flower nute time, but like others said, maybe 1/4 of the suggested dosage on the bottle...

Do you have a tds meter? Water over 150ppm usually provides sufficient calcium. If you're tap water is too hard, adding calmag could cause nutrients to be locked out. Even well water that's not being provided fresh water can become hard. When I started I just used well water, eventually my plants became very sick. After purchasing a tds meter I learned that the ppm of the well water was around 200-300 while my tap water rides around 150. I now only use calmag when I use rain water which I try to do as often as mother nature allows me, but it's hard to explain why my gutters drain into buckets..
