Hi again all. As you can see by the pics, the plants are comin on well, not sure if they growing as quick as they should as this is my first grow. They are about between 10 and 15 inches high at the moment. Do you think i need to transfer to bigger pots? When i can sex the plants i will plant one male and female outside so i can pollinate for seeds. The other females i will leave on the window sill. The only other problem is that some are afghan seeds and some are northern lights. Does anyone know the visual difference between the two, I dont want to plant out one male and one female and find they are not from the same type of seed, as I don't want to cross the two different strains

Cheers everyone

plants are looking good. You could either transplant now or in a week or two. You might have a problem telling the difference from the two strains....keep us posted and we should be able to help you out!:leaf:

Ok, do you know what size pots i should put the plants into. they currently in 3 litre pots i think. The male and female i plant outside can be left to nature, but just need advice on the ones i leave inside.

Cheers, thanks for the generous help

It's the right time for bigger pots. Most plants show their sex in approx 8 weeks. Make sure you don't leave that window open if it's near where the male will be. Good luck telling between two indica plants before they flower; try googling characteristics of each. Indicas are short so their expected height is about 3 ft. Pots should be 1gal/4qt/3.781iters for every foot of expected height for indicas.

How big do you want your plants to be? There is a guy on here that grew in a 16 oz party cup for the whole grow, his plants were small, but his yield was pretty good.
