Do I need a reflector

In a small grow box 2'5'5' with Fylar on all surfaces could I not just hang the 250 watt mh vertical bulb by the socket, the surfaces are reflective already why would I need a reflector in a small area. The tent will be used for housing 4 mother plants

You would be better off vertical it will give you shorter fatter mothers.

So yes or did u mean horizontal?

Yes vertical just hang the bulb between the plants you have a reflective box.

A horizontal hood takes height away and adds heat

Plants look great! Would u say a 250 or. 400 watt for 4 mothers, I was trying to keep heat down as much as possible, extra intake and outake equals increased noise as well.. Ill only be pulling about 4 to 8 clones a month for a small 3 plant perpetual. What's the strain u have in that picture btw?

I would use the 250 otherwise things will get to big and hot you don't need many clones.

That is bagseed my buddy grew it is good and almost done.
