Do I need a net over my plants?

I've topped my plants and they are packed in very snuggly in 4x2 tent. Do I need a net over them for stability even if they are quite short and stocky with solid stems?

I would be more concerned about just how snuggly are they packed in there. You wouldn't want to experience poor air movement as they get late into flower.

Got any pics?

OK. That's not too overcrowded up top. And once the stretch has finished, you will need to clean out some of the lower down stuff cause it's going to get light starved and end up being useless.

As for using a net, see how tall those branches are once the plants have stretched. One of those inexpensive nylon support trellis might be useful.

I think a net would be benificial for support.. They're gonna get a lot taller and heavier..
Sucks tryin to tie em up when they collapse.. Sticky!!
