Do digital ballast save money?

Hi,

Anybody have any idea on weathrr digital ballast actually dave money on electricity cost.

I have upgraded to six digis after being told i would be able to save but im not too convinced,
I am running 6 600watt bulbs dimmed down to 400watt on the ballast totalling 2400 apparently is this true or just another money spinner and im actualy still pulling 3600 watts totsl?

600 watts is 600 watts. LED or any kind of ballast. If you turn down it reduces wattage accordingly. It's not good for the bulb however.

Digital ballast are just more efficient than magnetic ballast in regards to producing less heat and longevity.

why dim that perfect 600 watt spectrum?
