Do carbon filters lower the rooms CO2 levels?

So I’m considering using a carbon filter on a timer set to switch between on/off every hour to control the humidity in my veg room because I need to use the dehumidifier that was in that room elsewhere.

Does anyone know if this will affect the room negatively by lowering the CO2 levels in there?
