Interesting. How exactly would we deny Russia "what lies in the Black Sea"? It's a lot closer to them than it is to us. They have a naval and air presence in the region while ours is minimal. They even have a major naval base at Novorossiysk which is actually on the Black Sea. Are you suggesting we go to war to defend what "lies in the Black Sea"?

Does this mean that Russia can deny us Lake Michigan?

And what does lie in the Black Sea anyway?
