DNA'S x Skunk Train - OG18, SLEESTACK, kUSHBERRY, KANDYKUSH, L.A CONFIDENTIAL

Thanks Nick, nice to hear that... how would u compare the 18/skunk cross to the straight OG18?

And i always start cranking my dehumidifier around the last 2 weeks of flower to assure i dont get any rot... I rather have moisture stressed leaves during the last week then watch my biggest and best tops turn to garbage in the centers lol.

20 strains huh? gnar gnar! Any other obvious winners in the bunch?? -I have to say my 18 cross has also beaten out my Chocolope, White Berry, Blackberry, and LSD... and it is going to give my Blue Dream a run for its money as well, which has been my best worker over the last few years. I am also running some of JJ's Double Dawg clones (Chemdawg X Chemdawg/Afgan) which I think may be the 18/skunks biggest threat as far as quality and yield.(very high quality, gunna be a breeze to manicure, and it is a surprisingly still pretty elite strain that gets top dollar prices)

I also have some of Subcool's Querkle and some Sour Grapes clones waiting for their chance to compete as well (Sour Grapes father is a Chemdog x Sour Diesel cross from Elite Genetics and the mother was Jojorizos Purple Elephant clone.) Im excited to see what its like... Oh, and I got cuttings of Chimera's Mental Floss which is supposed to be a chimera/dj short collaboration as well as a nice commercial yielder... Anyhooo, just rambling... thanks again for the info.

From just the looks the skunk crosses are the winners. This run was mainly a freebie run because I had a ton of various freebies that I wanted to do and see if there were any keepers. The #18 cross is def. a bigger yielder then just the #18 but I have yet to try the cross to see if the flavor/high is as good. All my skunk crosses have a nice solid single cola and very little branching which is what Im looking for. I have some Madonna and JTR thats tried and true but most of the other stuff Im growing look like pretty average yielders so Im going to have to wait till there done and cured before I decide if any of those are keepers.

Right on, thanks nick... I'll keep an eye out for the Madonna, I am not familiar with it but i have heard of it.
Also heard the Jack was a weird, unique plant but ive never seen or smoked it and i guess its hype never caught my attention enough to pursue it getting it, but it seems to have gotten a lot of good media over the years.

I have the LA and sleestack and one og18, my partner had the others which he started along with ten beans of his making from a previous grow. I still have my beans, he has one female kandykush, all the others were males. All ten of his beans were female. One female out of eight beans from dna. All these beans were germed in the same way and all were grown in the same room in identical soil and nutrients for all plants. There are no heat issues, plenty of light, two six hundreds, fans the whole nine yards. I'll post up my report when I grow out mine.

Ive grown dna's skunk ....it was nice but im not a big skunk fan....
The cross sounds interesting tho...
I am sure that The 18 by itself is probly i higher quality crop than the skunk cros...
That being said anything crossed with og is a money maker...
Theysell these crosses of the skunk on worldwides site....

I have grown out and flowered and cured the entire skunk trainline....GRADE AAA with the KushBerry, OG18 and LA Con...The Kandy Kush was not a keeper, and I gave the Sleestaks to a friend.....BUt the LA Con, is the prettiest plant I have ever grown....and the dankest...I dont know if I got a freak pheno or what, But I havent seen any pics of a single La Con plant that could even come close to rivaling her...no bullshit...Its some of the best reefer I have ever seen...and Ive been growing for 10+ years....Its big tight dense buds, that are so crystaly that you cant even see that the bud turned purple, even the fan leaves have crystals to the tip of them...Its crazy...grey and purple buds......Awesome shit...the Kushberry was also a HUGE yielder, with nice dense buds, they are HUGE some of the biggest buds Ive seen on a plant....Its buds are very sweet, blueberry/fruity pebbles smell/taste....a very nice daytime smoke....The OG18 was also a nice yielder, with dense buds that smelled of coffee/sweet/hash....hard to explain but it was very nice as well......All 3 of those strains, have a place in my garden..theyt are keepers for sure....The Kandy Kush on the other hand was not....Dont get me wrong, it yielded almost as well as the KushBerry, but It was my least favorite of the 4....The buds were somewhat solid, but foxtails grew from the solid buds...Its cool looking.......Sativa high all the way, very frosty....its a solid strain, but just not a keeper in my eyes......These were my favorites in this order....

1) La Con
2a) KushBerry
2b) OG18

All 3 are fucking killer.....I only had 1 La Con female.....1 OG18 female and 1 KushBerry female, so not a very good representation of the strains, maybe I got lucky with nice phenos, but it seems likely that most of the plants from these seeds will be a keeper....hard to even say that, doesnt sound right....But it was the case for me....You will know if you have the LA Con pheno I have, because its crazy looking....it will be the frostiest plant in the garden....Let me know if you do, I havent found anyone yet.......

Hope this helps some folks, I couldn't find anything on these when I was growing them....I harvested all mine about 1 month ago...as soon as I got the beans I germed them that night and vegged for 2 weeks, and flipped to 12/12........Take it easy.

I think I have an LA cut that looks like that. But to me it also looks pretty close the pics on dna website, and the bags of it if seen around. For sure the crystalliest plant Ive ever grown. So short tho, needa super long veg, but no problem, it flowers so fast.

Funny my la con runted and never grew .....
But my kandy on the other hand took off....
The candy was wiierd at first ...but became my favorite somehow....it was real different but og taste for sure....im not a stiva fan either...
I luv la con tho too..i definately want to give it a go .....

I'm flowering them all with high humidity and Kushberry was the only one that molded

sry i havent read all of this but im in this club those rock for freebees! did your og18skunk thing have a very different taste? whats your opinion on that one. my kkush is smoothest, lacon is good looking not best, sleestack no germ very good results though are yours similar, and what bowl should i pack right now?

I still have my 45 DNA-Skunk train seeds set aside for later use. But this thread will be an excellent resource when I DO get a chance to grow them out. Thanks to everyone who contributed. Good luck & good grow........BB

just grew them all out.. 8 plants.. 330 dry grams.. check the fab 5 out.. shit is AMAZING! selling it for $400 an oz and its flying off the shelves.. the purplish one in the middle is the kushberry..she was the biggest.. 108 dry grams

yeah the kb was my fav by far but i didnt get to try the sb, the kk, or the og got male of the 1's i germed...

i picked some kandy kush clones last year and flowered a few, & man What a nice smoke! It has a very unique flavor and smell to match it. Great for indoor growth as it has nice spacing between nodes.
