I'm a Canadian breeder with 23 years experience growing cannabis and everything I have grown for meds or seed has been some far off strain. There is literally no such thing as a Canadian landrace. Most of Canada was a fucking ice cube 20, 000 years ago. The only possible thing you could consider Canadian genetics is a strain from the native's that will be low potency at best. I laugh at the commercial kush coming out of BC by the tonne. It's complete garbage that does nothing to a smoker of my caliber. In my opinion Southwestern Ontario has the best bud in Canada with most of that being from Cali genetics.

Yes and No. Calli does not have landraces has well, all imported, 2nd I know for a fact tweed is sitting on a shit ton of genetics, they surely do not need DnA, they could of made their own crosses by now, you mean to tell me all that crap tweed pushes out about how they are science based but yet they need to hire some bootleg breeders, I say bootleg becasue they are doing nothing different then most breeders I know, They get a clone of this, find a male of that presto new strain. Not rocket science, its not like DnA have been doing anything special, If anything I am sure some guy in calli is pissed that DnA took their work and passed it off has their own.

I don't get the whole approval business. It's a legal commodity now let the free market decide who has the best Ganja. Which of course is me. that's the nice thing about cannabis, there is no such thing as best, it's a subjective thing. everyone has their favorites. and everything can be improved upon. with the power of the internet the kid down the street may actually be a better grower, with far less experience. things have changed hugely in the last 25 yrs and will continue to change more than we can imagine. there will be no cock on cannabis mtn. it's the people's plant.
