Man you spit alot of shit. But in certain cases there isn't an opinion, it is fact. If you are going to believe everything one guy says then you are the blind one. I have exhausted all resources on the matter, and have reached a final conclusion of skepticism. Why simply believe something as true when you can explore a tangible universe right in front of your eyes. I have read work from many people who follow a similar approach, and I still have absolute assurance in science. Science has not conclusively proven but can reasonably assertain a model which allows human consciousness to exist, and if you are not willing to look at all of the facts, rather at some silly stories, random acts or visions, which are thought to be something greater than a mere coincidence or a endogenous chemical experience, then you are indeed the blind one. I hope you realize that the reason we have reached so far into the shear ingenuity of technological advancement had no ground in spirituality, it was humans that were so engaged with science that it has come to be.

What if everything around you, Isn't quite as it seems. What if all the world you used to know is an elaborate dream, And if you look at your reflection. Is it all you wanted to be?. What if you could look right through the cracks. Would you find yourself. Find yourself afriad to see?

But would you live yourlife around the expectation that you may, or may not, have something to show for it once it is over. Or just roll the dice while alive, and be rewarded regardless.

You haven't been enlightened my friend. Not every can be, as I said before some are gifted, some are not. Try to expand your mind, you don't have to live your life like that, but I choose to, because I know truth.

Faith is making a virtue out of not thinking.

"Ever noticed that people who believe in Creationism look really unevolved?"
-Bill Hicks

"By observing natural scientific discoveries through a perception deepened by meditation, we can develop a new awareness of reality. This awareness could become the bedrock of a spirituality that is not based on the dogmas of a given religion, but on insights into a higher and deeper meaning. I am referring to the ability to recognize, to read, and to understand the firsthand revelations."

Ok good, what is your point? That is a theory which has questionable grounds at best, where as faith is making a virtue out of not thinking. It is a side definition no doubt.

All matter is merely energy condensed to a slow vibration – that we are all one consciousness experiencing itself subjectively. There's no such thing as death, life is only a dream, and we're the imagination of ourselves. -Bill Hicks
nuff said. i'm done here. you don't have to believe, keep your faith for you couldn't handle the above, truth.

The Bill Hick's thing is arguing against your point as well. That is a scientific standpoint of the issue. That there are little tiny vibrating strings of energy, that make up quarks and gluons that make up protons and neutrons, and are possibly made of something smaller. Then these masses of fast moving energy are held in pace by an negative charge of energy that is either moving so fast or bursting in and out of existence so fast that is can't possibly be seen, nor found, but its chances of being in a particular position can be predicted.

This is what I believe, no god, no spirit, no afterlife. Just chemicals in our brain. Our eyes see, send an electric signal to our brain, which we then interpret. But what we see is not actually what is modern physics has proven this. We have constant levels of DMT in our blood which has been objectively proven to cause dreams.

I think we are yelling the same thing at each other.

The most important kind of freedom is to be what you really are. You trade in your reality for a role. You give up your ability to feel, and in exchange, put on a mask.

And that is? Please enlighten me oh great sage, the Buddha, the one with the gift. People love to believe they have the answer, because uncertainty scares them. If you believe you are a single consciousness with everything and everyone of whatever, I don't even know how people can arrive at these archaic ideas at this day and age, then you are not being what you truly are. Am I right, a creature of the planet, no otherworldly ties. This is an issue that can be batted around forever, and when it comes down to it science has evidence and spirituality has unwarranted belief.

Mr.KushMan, with all due respect (this is a lil random, it just struck me tho).. at the end of the day. When you're dead, you're dead.. does it matter what comes afterwards? Since there is uncertainty in what created people, and what comes after our lives.. then it is not pertinent what occurs after we die, solely what we do while we are alive :-D

And that is the point I have been trying to get across. You have to be the best person you can, and be happy in all corners, because it all comes back to you at the last seconds before you die...
