anyone got a ppfd or DLI they would share for what they keep their mothers under... goin the mother route for the first time and im just kinda trying to stall them or be as energy efficient as i can untill the tests done... a DLI baseline for mothers would be great so i could adjust that a little bit if i need to slow em down or speed em up..
i found this in an article... the article cited bugbee so im assuming it pretty trustworthy...
Bottom threshold for optimal growth and photosynthesis is a DLI of 22:
24/0 schedule: 254.6 micromoles/m2/s-1
18/6 schedule: 339.5 micromoles/m2/s-1
12/12 schedule: 509.25 micromoles/m2/s-1
im not really sure what optimum growth means but my guess would be somwthing like DLI aorund 12 will stall them.... 15-18 would be ok... and getting up to 20-22 would be kinda pushing mothers...
