I guess other People just want to see buds, not mother plants
I'm trying to help you and at the same time I'm practising my messed up English, so I have a double use of this thread^^
Don't trimm those leafs, not even if they are totally yellow, yellow leafs usually mean there is a N-deficit, but don't worry I guess this is from the flushing with just ph'd water, if it's not geting more just ignore it.
You maybe should post some Pictures of those curling leafs, usually leaf tops curl when you over fert after planting them in bigger pots with pre fert soil this can happen and it's no problem, it's just from all the nuts in the new soil.
When you take clones, the lowest ones you can take close to the stalk, maybe there won't come any more branches but the lowest ones you don't need anyway, when the mother allready has certain size its better to get rid of them for some reasons.
But in order to get a good mother, when ever you cut a clone, leaf there on node at the plant so you will get two new branches soon from this node, so there will be two clones too cut the next time, and when you leaf there one node each again, you will get 4... Everytime you cut above from a node, there usually should grow two new braches....
EDIT:
You should cut clones from the top of the stalk soon, you dont wan't mothers to become very tall...
People who don't have space for tall plants or just want 2 colas cut the head down once, or if they want even more colas per plant, they cut them down more often...
I don't recomend this for plants you are going to flower for a couple of reasons(needs more time and brings usually not more harvest are just 2 of them) but for mothers it's important to do it, so you get more branches for more clones to cut soon and they don't become too tall.
