DJ led light... ive been using one, have you?

My friend gave me an led light from his DJ equipment, and ive been using it for my clones. its pretty bright and it has 8 red 8 blue and 8 green lights which are fairly large leds and looks like they have built in reflectors around each one. so my question is... couldn't I just buy a used Dj light with a lot of leds on it for half the price as a ufo or any other "grow led"? Isnt it the same thing just alot cheaper cuz its not labeled for "growing"? Im new to this led thing cuz I rock the MH/HPS, but wanna try something new, can anyone give me some input here. and did I just discover a led break through that's gonna put "grow leds" outta business on their humongous marked up lights.

Afraid not.

There's a bit more to LED grow lights than them being just 'red, blue, green' etc. I'm sure it'll work... but so will incandescent bulbs...

what sites can you find those DJ led's that are cheap? ill try em' out and see what happens =)
