Nice the 3030 2d? I was wondering if they were going to release a high enough bin for those to be worth it. Are those going to be around the same price as the QB?Lumileds and luminous
Damn good deal you should call it the spectrum King killer haha 2 of these would be a nice sk602 replacement for $1k lessNo these are 5050 8 dies per led. $99 as a combo heatsink, board, thermal pad and mounting screws. $10 optional khatod IP optic.
2 should do. You could use APC 35-500 to power them both.@Stephenj37826 would you be able to give me some advise on the QB11 Quantum Boards. I want to know how many pairs of QB11 Deep Reds would be required when used with 400Watts of QB 3000k? to boost the spectrum and be useful and off course which driver?.
The efficiency is a bit higher as well. These are slightly more efficient than qb288 V1 but not quite qb288 V2.Damn good deal you should call it the spectrum King killer haha 2 of these would be a nice sk602 replacement for $1k less
Any idea the umol/j @100w?The efficiency is a bit higher as well. These are slightly more efficient than qb288 V1 but not quite qb288 V2.
2.35 umol/j board level (@ temp no air movement) @175 watts each.
Just a guess but 2.55-2.6. We will need to do more tests. The numbers I have shared are from sphere data thus far.Any idea the umol/j @100w?
Thanks for getting back to me.2 should do. You could use APC 35-500 to power them both.
Hi QB thread I hope you dont mind me copy pasting this here.
I could really use some help with my build. I have never done anything like this and it's all new to me.
My parts are :
QB288 V1 x8
Slate 2 Double Heatsink x4
HLG 600h b x2
So I have done a ton of research including watching YouTube videos, and lurking on a bunch of threads on multiple forums. I guess im just nervous about actually building it. I have a 4x8 tent and want to mount the drivers outside the tent
Unless you live in a really hot climate you might want the heat the driver gives off in the tentHi QB thread I hope you dont mind me copy pasting this here.

I have a 4x8 tent and want to mount the drivers outside the tent, I was wondering exactly how I could go about this. My current thought would be to buy 14 or 16 awg wire and use wagos to connect them them to the drivers 2 output wires, and as those wires have 2 conducters I would need to buy -2 wire right? Would I lose a lot of power by running extra wire 10-15 feet? Also would I need any tools for this build besides the wire strippers, multimeter, wagos, and screwdriver I already have? Instructions on how to do this with wagos would be highly appreciated.
Thanks for anyhelp.
Is that really a $13 driver or did I look up the wrong one?2 should do. You could use APC 35-500 to power them both.
Seems to be. Cheap for sure if the red is not worth while I won't feel so bad.Is that really a $13 driver or did I look up the wrong one?
Very nice.Shipping Oct 1st capable of 175+ watts passively cooled. Add a fan and these are capable of over 300 watts.. .. Stay tuned

Very nice! But i thought that type of heatsink was good for 100w?Shipping Oct 1st capable of 175+ watts passively cooled. Add a fan and these are capable of over 300 watts.. .. Stay tuned

True .Unless you live in a really hot climate you might want the heat the driver gives off in the tent
Very nice.

I guess parmap, hanging height etc will be forthcoming. Kudos for trying new brands and diodes and starting to play with spectrum.
