No, and its absolutely hilarious that you say that in a matter of fact fashion. The analogy is also hilarious.
Then what are you confused about? That's fine, I like that business model. You should start working on it. How is someone going to copy my patented invention? I'll have 10 years to develop processes which cannot be trumped. I think we'll be OK in that respect. No problem. That isn’t how this works. We’ve invested in a small initial inventory, and have investors who are awaiting further scientific documentation, amongst other things, to determine how much they need to contribute. At our price points, sales are pretty much guaranteed. There’s no reason to believe, with what people purchase in this market at this time, that at our price points our fixtures will not sell. How successful it will be, has yet to be determined. Time will tell. Also, everything we’ve invested, would have absolutely 0 impact on our lives if this failed. So there’s also that to consider. Why do you think I have so much time?
Because we are in R&D.
1. I do not believe this is an absolute requirement for business. I’m one of the people in this world who believe nothing is impossible and anything can be achieved. I truly do believe I can create a fully transparent business, with real science showcased in true scientific fashion, which has not really been done in this field yet for a lighting system company that I know of. Even fluence has .science as their TLD, yet the information is 100% without a doubt not presented in true scientific fashion. Would you agree?
2. And I was commenting on that, by informing you that we are already in talks with large Canadian commercial operations, who are in the process of researching lighting systems to outfit their facilities. I'm sure they know about whatever it is you're talking about, yet they are still interested in us for some reason.
We are not yet at the stage where we are concerned about being scored for an IP rating.
I feel like, if you can admit that you think I am smart, after taking part in trying to laugh me out of here, you actually do believe I have somewhat of a clue. But hey, I could be wrong.
Hey look someone finally figured out the incentive for posting on this thread. Kudos to you! Its just, before July 10th, HLG was a (marginally) bigger concern for us. That’s not the case anymore. But a lot of this is already on auto-pilot, so I’ve got all the time in the world. I have no problem discussing this topic and learning as much as I possibly can from people who spend their money in this market. It doesn't much matter to me if you guys can't make sense out of my posts, or don't make sense at all. I'm just interested in learning how your minds work.
We’ve got a rockstar marketing director with decades of experience who has led teams for projects which were broadcasted on national television and are probably in some of your homes right now, alongside several patents. I’ll tell you who I am right now in this, nobody; a ghost. I am completely aware of that.
This forum has a feature where you can check how long someone’s been here, so try using that next time. And for the rest, what a ramble! The lights are running right now, and we've got an MK350 on the way as of today. I think its worth more than $40. I just like to research how to build things before I purchase them. Its a method of operation for me. Try it.
Why would you start a company, if you don’t want to be the best? Maybe I just don’t understand that philosophy. If that is their philosophy, well then by all means, they can have that sector. Even though we’ve got products designed for that demographic as well, so their will still be some competition. I don't know if you've noticed, but the 'HLG name', is starting to become a bit tarnished.
I’m not sure, actually. The person who connected me with the Canadian operation said they are not interested unless its in the process of being patented. But it is, so they are interested, and we of-course hope to do something with them. I’m not getting my hopes up for that just yet though.
Show me where they got the attention of Samsung, because I do not think that is confirmed, and its really not a very sensible thing to believe to be true. They didn’t nail any deals, you know that right? It would be public knowledge if they were really “The official horticulture partners of Samsung”. Samsung produces products which compete with quantum boards, so I’m not sure how you guys even have the capability of believing in such an unlikely scenario.
Like I said before, all HLG has is the trademarked term, ‘Quantum Board’. If Samsung is interested in that, they will buy it for pennies. They aren’t ‘partnering’ with them. Why would they?
