Yeah, wondered what was up with it?tomato removed today. Got a new clone I'll put in there.
Yeah, wondered what was up with it?
In his aquaponics thread, @Ken Beck recently cloned a sprig from his (hopefully indeterminate strain!) tomato plant, and it showed roots in just 3 days.It just up and died lol. Been trying to revive it for a while now with no luck. I got plenty more though I clone them all winter to have for my raised bed gardens
Yea, i didnt expect anything of it to be honest. And i hope nobody uses determinate types. I really dont see the use of those types. In his aquaponics thread, @Ken Beck recently cloned a sprig from his (hopefully indeterminate strain!) tomato plant, and it showed roots in just 3 days.
I'll be doing another today i believe. Pics, lux, nitrate levels, flood and drain times and everything all along the way. All pertinent information so i can find out why it rooted so fast.3 DAYS!! Damn..! 6-8 for these usually.
I could see some instances where it can be justified. But for indoor use i personally want something that can do year round production. Always important to select the proper plant that will suit its use.some people have limited space, only reason i can see to use determinate strains of tomatoes
They work great in greenhouse production.Yea, i didnt expect anything of it to be honest. And i hope nobody uses determinate types. I really dont see the use of those types.
Yea, i am stuck on indoor too much because i live in Michigan and its weather hates us. Its good for seasonal use and for the period that it is used for it can have more production during that time. They work great in greenhouse production.
I know but here is a dc one. I was busy sorry http://www.ebay.com/itm/12V-20A-Blue-LED-Light-Bar-Laser-Rocker-Switch-On-Off-Relay-Fuse-ATV-For-SUV-/201854902106?hash=item2eff7d5f5a:g:7AYAAOSwax5YyMtK&vxp=mtr $6 with fuse I do know the difference between ac and dc.The link above is different. That one fuses the AC side. What I'm talking about is fusing the DC side. You just use a simple in-line fuse holder.

You can get these for the round glass fuses as well. Get the waterproof kind.
Determinate varieties can continually produce for over two years indoors. That's why they're popular, no down time after they start fruiting.Yea, i am stuck on indoor too much because i live in Michigan and its weather hates us. Learn something new every day. 2yrs isnt bad. I knew they had a set limit, it probably depends on the strain you get. Ive heard of kinds that only last about 2months. Had to look it up now cause there are so many. Bush early girl has a really short lifespan.Determinate varieties can continually produce for over two years indoors. Good points about having a good extinguisher near by!Had fun reading this whole thread.
Just a note regarding fire extinguishers around electricity.
Make sure you have one that uses CO2 (does not stop fire flaring up again), dry powder or water mist.
When you factor in the wood frames many of you use, you are left with only dry powder extinguisher as viable.
Be safe.
Keep your dick in a vice!
Are you referring to photosynthetical photon flux density(calculates the amount of light reaching a certain point) As a means to calculate even distribution of par? Ur well above me but im subbed, great info this should be a sticky... Gonna read it all now.ive 850w of Budmaster cob in my 4x4 now their prices are up so do u know of any reasonable modular cobs sets preferred with osram due to the low deprecation rateApogee SQ-120 and no spectrum adjustment to numbers. So these are minimum numbers. Actual numbers should be higher.
Why not a better PAR meter. @Stephenj37826 can i have that Lighting Passport now ? You've been playing with it for 3 weeks

All numbers in µmol (photons) m-2 s-1
With tent measurements the numbers outside 1x1 were not easy to measure so some margin of error.
what has this to do with quantum board builds?Anyone can make me a modular budmaster-god-with-osram-ssl80-diodes type design for Ireland (voltage n plig in mind pm me the prices iffy lol

Or even another cobx9 like this, doeant meed to be exact but the Osram is a must.
