Wasssup roll it up! Back with another build. Time for breakfast on enchanted mornings, and trips to the free lumber bin in the afternoons. The place, Sugarman farm.

I'm expanding the garden, picked up another 4x8 on black Friday, so that means I'm going to be needing a new veg cabinet to hold 2 more sips. Here is the veg cab og i built around this time last year.

This new cabinet will not have any limitations on height because there is no plumbing above it. It starts as the other one did, a storage shelf I made when I was 19. Long story short. I moved upstate when I was 12 from long island to this house. Moved out, got married, had kids, got divorced, moved back, took care of my parents until they both passed, bought out my brother and took ownership of the house. Anyways, the shelf.

Started bringing the Christmas stuff up early. Wife didnt suspectc a thing, she thought I was being "festive". Went through pictures, had to punch myself in the leg a few times. Miss those guys.

Finally went through everything. Most crap went to the attic. Took the shelf apart, used the sheet rock that was the shelving to line the ceiling. Taped the sheet rock. I then cut some outdoor mold resistant house sheathing and skinned the wall behind it. Moved all the shelving out 3 1/2" to accommodate the sips. One shelf up top, one on the floor, and one 50" to the top.

I try to take it easy on the weekends, but the wife took a nap.

I doubled up the 2x4 in the front of each shelf for the sliding doors. The plywood stops short of these 2x4s, aand a 1x1 strip will be added to help minimize light leaks. 2 more 2x4's were framed along the sides to square off the front of the cabinet. And now plywood starting to go on the walls and floors.

Finished piecing everything together. I made the cabinet wall by the door a vent stack. Easier than running flex duct for everything. I might cap off that whole ceiling joist and use that as a main exhaust trunk.

Here you can see the 4" hole cut in the top of the bottom cabinet, and the plywood painted white where it will be used as an air chase.

All painted. Next I'll be working on the sliding doors for the top and bottom cabinet. Then we get to deck it out with lights, fans, controller, and humidifier.

Had to put the xs1500s in there. Still need to get a hardware kit and some plywood for the doors, but like a kid with a new gi Joe tank I'll play with it now and put the stickers on and batteries in it later.

I have a stardawg from blackskull seeds. Grew one out this summer, but had to chop early from rot. Mother is almost ready to clone, then they will go in these sips from start to finish under the xs1500s.

My hobbies are dope

That turned out sweet. I love seeing others grow spaces. Always go es me ideas.
Thanks! Still not done yet. It gets 2 sets of sliding doors and black trim.

Link to another build for a 55" 2x2 tent booster/veg cabinet with vent stack. Just to add to your idea reservoir

Stain against that wall color should look pretty nice.
I used to grow in a 4x8x4 wooden box I built in a basement. Always fun to design grows for spaces in your home. Nice work. Don't forget to update. Wed definitely like to see the stain.

I have smart bulbs, so it's nice to change up the colors. Black lights and posters for the other room. Need a lava lamp for the office too. Anyways. Bottom cabinet is done. Except for the fan, but it's staying %57 74°.

There she is. We just had to shift through the spectrums like the preditor.

Top cabinet doors are next, and exhaust fan. I'll be combining both veg cabinets into a separate air plenum with a 6" fan.

Office is almost done, waiting on a sick ass cover plate I ordered. Not sure how the academy feels about me defacing my award, but it will soon be the joker.

One shot of the beaded curtain my wife got me last Christmas. She said it's handmade on Vietnam. I said, isn't everything? Idk I don't get out much.
