Hey @Stephenj37826 , can you tell us who makes the diodes in the HLG UVA Bar? Cant seem to find the information anywhere.
I used my t5 arcadia bulb for the first time this run and used it full cycle in veg and and flower now too. I figure the added ir doesn't hurt as well.

I can say that I got great trichome production with that bar on my last run. That said it was under a new light with a new strain so not really any way to say what the bar did exactly. I think your test will be much better with your tried and true strain. Especially with previous results to compare too. Looking forward to seeing it.

The one I have is 30 watts and says it covers a 4x4. It does cover the footprint but I can't measure how much light it is putting out around said footprint, just that it seems to cover it. It is meant to be run 12/12 through flower which it did with no ill effect. I suppose all you can do is throw them in and see how your plants react. Either way I think there is a good argument to be made for adding UV.

The HLG web site says it should be run on a 12 hours cycle and it plugs into your main light so it just runs when lights on through flower.
"Waterproof 30 watts UVA LED BAR designed for 12 hr cycle in a 4x4 or 5x5 sqft space. Passive cooled, 24 inches with built in power supply. Bolt on installation for any HLG 550 and HLG 600 Kit.

I found it weird they don’t have mounting slots on the scorpion Diablo or the 350R.
I mounted to the sides of my tent instead.
