I find if you go slow with the pressure you won't get as many blowouts. I always start at 1.5 - 2.5t then go more pressure if needed up to 5t sometimes but usually 3-3.5Got my press together and tried some chocolate diesel .
I applied a bit too much pressure rupturing the bag.
More testing , both product and process.

Now does that require fresh cut material?I'm just screening and drying my bubble. Then it's press time
You can do fresh frozen or dried material. More Terps with fresh frozenNow does that require fresh cut material?

I think I left it in too long and pressed too hard but it's still killer. Still have like 2oz left to squish

No idea my friend. Data suggests 60-70% return. I weighed that bag. It was 11g. I got 4.6g on the first press and 1.6 off the second so that's like 56%. Close to the target range and it was 120u so it's second grade anyways. I'm sure the 90u presses will come out at a higher % making it a bit more even around 60something%how much will you get from the 2oz
I'm pretty positive you are not supposed to use oil slick PTFE paper to press onI've had my press for a month or so. Started out pressing on parchment chottle style at high Temps 190 to 220. I like the product I got at 160 much better. Also using oilslick ptfe to squish into. It's durable and reusable compared.to parchment. Very light colored and more fragrant than the higher temp squish. I don't have a pressure gauge but I try not to overpressed. Saving all my pucks to make gummies down the road.View attachment 5140489
