Hey guys,

Been jumping around doing some research.

started off with exploring building my own setup in the space I have.

Worked out i had a 2m wide x 1.2m deep x 1.6m high space to work with.

Decided to split that into three chambers and setup for a perpetual grow.

Decided on 1.2m x 1.2 x 1.6m high space for flowering chamber with 600w HID, with T5 panel for veging and CFL for clones. Make the room out of foam board and tape it up.

Then decided that maybe LED was the go, cos maybe i could reduce the heat.

Then realised how expensive LEDs are, so explored DIY LEDs....

Finally despaired a little and explored premade grow boxes.

Then realised how expensive they are. But figured for a turnkey solution, possibility of finance, i'd explore it.

Now i'm stuck. I know i can do it myself cheaper and maybe achieve similar results, but not without a further 200 hours worth of research and expert help with building it.

So i figured I'd throw it out there. I'm going to need help from two mates to build this....or i can finance a bloombox.

what are your thoughts people? By the way in Australian dollars it is Ridiculously expensive. Gorgeous but expensive.

I built my own. My flower tent was made out of PVC and reflectix. My veg area is two kitchen racks facing one another with some space between, wrapped in reflectix and gorilla film. And no zippers to break!
