What strips or led light will be the best for Meanwell HLG 480H-24A, because I use it with 24 x 2ft. Bridgelux Eb gen 2, but I understand that because the strips are 19.5V and the driver is 24V, it's better to use 20V Driver and I will have the HLG 480H-24A without lights. So what will be the best strips for example to suit that driver(and how many strips will be the best in parallel wiring) :?: :shock:

both of those uses around 22-23v depending on drive current. I understand about wanting to maximize every watt out of the driver. But at some point you need a little overhead to give room for line losses.

So there is no big deal to stay with it and the Bridgelux EB gen 2. To correct my mistake I will make second lamp with 2 x HLG 320H-20A and 32 x Bridgelux EB Gen 2(or3) strips. I see now that the HLG 320H-20A is 300W not 320W. So 30(not 32) Bridgelux EB gen 2 strips will be the correct way ?

There's no reason to use less strips when they're wired in parallel. The more the better.
 
I have 10 EB gen 3 slim 4000K for clones/mother plant tent ( 2.5ft x 2ft x 2.5ft ). What driver to use for them ? I think to use all 10 strips.

the driver in question is lne-54v-185waa

the red strips are
SSK-1560-EMP-660 (33v or slightly less with this config, i think)
yellow are h series 2ft 4k strips (about 24v maybe a bit less.

orange are 2 yellows in series, not in question.

also suggestions for decent drivers to run the reds on their own and skip the extra white would be appreciated.

It looks like you have a pair of reds in parallel to each other, in series with a yellow, and 4 of these combos in parallel. It could conceivably light up, you might need to turn up the driver's voltage adjustment dial. Cutter says the SSK strip is 33V at 0.8A so it'll be more than 33V at 0.86A
If the yellow is the LT-H562D, looks like 23.4V at 0.86A.
No guarantees it'll run, you're pushing the limits of the driver, it might still run in constant voltage mode.

with the 2 reds in parallel they should each get half of the ~ 0.8 amp and the ~24 v strip the full ~ 0.800 amp, was my understanding. if thats the case then in reality the 33v would prob draw a bit less and the 24v would be pretty close to 24v, kind of running the whites hard and the reds soft

also pushing the driver to its max (within parameters) is the most efficient power wise, they droop on efficiency pretty quick below what they were made for

I have this driver and 6 of these sun boards. I have all the positives and negatives tied together into the driver. They have thr own wires running from each negative and each positive on the boards, and tied together into the positive and negative from the driver. It says it will give out 240 watts, but I’m only getting 195 watts. Shouldn't they run from pos to neg? That way they all share supply? 4x45w is 180w so your running about right imo!
I have 6 boards that I’d like to run at 40 watts each strip to give me the 240 watts from the driver. All I can get from it is 195 though. I didn’t know if running the electric a different way would give me the 240 watts I want.

It should work. What are you using to measure power? A picture of the wiring might reveal something.
Non of the wires are connected as the wires go to the driver, they all have thr own pos and neg wires running right to the driver leads. Six individual positives and 6 individual negatives connected into the driver leads.
