I'll be honest. It's my first time doing this (grow). But I don't see why this wouldn't work for a diy humidifier for my setup. Maybe it can help other people. we'll see.
I'm normally running about 35% DH. And i really need it to be a bit more for veg.
From what I learning in science classes, in theory this concept should work. It's pretty straight forward:
I installed 2 x 120 mm pc fans into a vent flap of my tent as an intake. It's a velcro flap that covers the screen/vent. I removed the flap and cut out a rectangle to attach the fans into. I attached them side by side with cardboard strips and duct tape, then I hot glued them to my vent flap, and reinforced it with black tape. This is how I made these 2 fans as a removable intake for the tent.
After using it for a week or 2 and struggling with humidity, I realized I could try having a moist towel in a reservoir of water run across the fans to act as a humidifier/swamp cooler. In theory the air should push through the wet towel and release vapor into the air, in "theory" at least. I just set it up with 82 f and 35% humidity. I'll post an update in a little bit.

(note: I know there are better options. I'm on a budget and am trying whatever hacks I can. I know it can cause mold, but it's not like I'm gonna let that thing rot in there.)
