OH MY GOD! THIS IS MY FIRST DIY POST! I AM SO EXCITED! WOOHOO!
Ok, ok, breath, breath.
OK
In this tutorial I will explain how to make a cheap, easy to make HONEY OIL extractor.
yoohoo, my first paragraph in the DIY section!!!
For thoes of you that doesn't know, or not sure what the crap is honey oil, honey oil is almost pure THC. Its a product that is almost liquid in room temperature and solid if cooled.
The use of honey oil is a bit like hash - you mix it with tobacco or weak cannabis buds and it becomes a ROCKET FUEL.
Unlike hash you really don't need to put much in the blend - 1 drop the size of a needles tip per cigarrete should do the trick.
And hey, why the crap throwing all thoes plant matter away?!
VERY IMPORTANT NOTE:
DO THIS IN A VERY WELL VENTILATED PLACE. BUTANE IS VERY FLAMABLE. DON'T DO IT IN A ROOM WITH YOUR INCADANCE BULB RUNNING BECAUSE IT WILL CAUSE A FIRE.
plus, it stinks.
To make honey oil you'll need:
1. Cannabis plant matter. Leaves, stems, flowers, what ever you wanna throw in. I use leaves as I have a lot of them lately. I will not waste buds on making oil.
You want the matter to be dried for about 2 days before using it.
2. Butane. You can find it under the name of Lighter filling gas. But look for the name Butane somewhere around the container. You need one bottle with adapters on the lid. You'll need one of thoes. 1 standard bottle lasts about 5 runs for me. I use too much each time tho.
3. PVC. You'll need a 2" diameter x7" lenght (aproximently) connector and 2 plugs that fit it and make it closed well. You better get something that is robust enough to take some pressure.
4. A lighter, some needles and one thin long screw.
5. A bit of silicon is optional.
6. A medium that the oil will be created on. A baking pyrex is owesome for that matter.
7. 2x New utility knife blades.
8. Sterile pads that is ment for dressing wounds. You want the ones that can be defolded easly. Usually 8 layered.
You can subtitue thoes with coffee pods filters or anything you seem apropriate.
OK, YOU DO IT THIS WAY
1. Get the lighter (I used the stove) and heat up the needle until its red. Then poke a hole with it in one of the PVC plugs. Repeat as much as possible.
2. Get tired of the needle thing, grab the screw and do the same thing with it. (note - it won't turn red, it will turn white. and PVC might get caught on it and when reheated drip on the surface)
3. Take one connector from the lid of the butane bottle. Melt a hole in the other plug that is just about the size of this connector and stick it in. You rather put some force in putting it in and not having to use the silicon to secure it. I've put on in the middle of the plug and the bottle just didn't got far enough so I've shut it with silicon and made a new hold on the side of the plug.
4. Clean everything up. Just rinse and dry it.
5. Get your cloth (whatever you chose. I've used sterile pads for dressing wounds), put it on the multi-poked plug and secure the plug into the PVC connector. Use force to close it as tight as possible.
6.PUT THE PLANT MATTER IN!
7. Close the plug with the butane gas bottle connector.
8. Over your tray (you got the pyrex, right?!) hold the PVC connector with the strainer faced down and plug the butane in its connector. Hold until liquid starts to flow from the bottom. That means you've used too much already, but too much doesn't hurt the product.
9. Let the liquid butane evaporate completely.
10. Scrape that brown dirt from the tray using your utility knife blades (one for picking and one for arranging it)
THAT IT, YOU GOT HONEY OIL!
If you want it to get harder, and you probably do, just put it in the fridge.
You should store it like hash, in a cold (not frozen) dark and dry place.
Sorry I don't have any more images right now. I will try to take pictures of the proccess and the product next time.
And sorry for my English, it not my mother language.
GOOD LUCK ALL.
please +rep me.
