DIY COB LED Heatsink - Heat pipe from recycled baseboard

If you were going to do it then I would do it with smd leds rather than COBs, COBs are great but smd is better for spread and effiency. Need to make sure that the strips used are aluminium based.

Bxeb strips are back ordered still and I have their bxrc cobs instead. Also, I have others that are looking to me for help doing the same so I'm aiming for DIY, but reproduceable and soon. I have a car rad but I doubt it'd be economical for me to buy one and a pump that was made for 12v.

Best options so far are CanadianTire "pond boss" pumps and some diy pop can manifolds, bunch of hosing and an economical, fanned liquid rad

Make sure you run coolant to help prevent electrolysis
